Apostle Deborah Leach

Senior Pastor

Apostle & Senior Pastor of God is in Control Ministries,  Deborah Leach is a loving mother of nine with her husband with her husband Herbert Leach and grandmother of 11.  Her journey with the Lord began in her youth at St. James A.M.E Zion Church in Red Springs NC. She was converted at the age of twenty-two on June 12, 1985.  In the same year she was baptized with fire and received the Holy ghost.  In the year of 1987, she was called into the ministry and was ordained an Elder under the leadership of Elder Daniel Covington.  During her tenure at Townsend Chapel, she availed herself to positions of service in such capacities as: Tiny Tots /Praise Team Choir President & Director, Gospel Choir Member, Youth Sunday School Teacher and Adult Sunday School Teacher.

Striving to live for God and glorify Him despite overwhelming trials and tribulations has not only caused her to be broken for the Master's use, but has equipped her with an extremely loving spirit and capacity to flow in the prophetic ministry.  Regardless of her circumstances, she has always remained to keep a smile on her face, a dance in her feet, and a praise on her lips.

In the year of 2012 before even acknowledging her call to pastor; God had already given her the name of her church, "God is in Control Ministries."  After much prayer, seeking the Lord and being chastised by the Holy Spirit; she obeyed the voice of God and informed her pastor, Bishop Winston in 2014.  She has a strong desire for breakthrough and deliverance in the lives of many, but most important to her is gathering the lost sheep and bringing them into the kingdom of God.

Evangelist Felicia McPhatter

Youth Minister

Felicia McPhatter is a native of Robeson County NC; a loving mother of two sons  with her husband, Deacon Wade McPhatter. 

 She is a charismatic intercessor and worshipper who has a heart for God and for His people. She is also an entrepreneur who has been actively serving God since 1998. 

Felicia is a licensed, ordained Evangelist & Youth Minister at "God Is In Control Ministries" located in Lumberton NC alongside her Pastor, Apostle Deborah Leach.

  She holds an Associate's in Applied Science Degree with a major in Office Systems Technology, Professional Medical Billing & Coding Skills and is a Certified Bookkeeper & Business Services Consultant.

 She loves seeing lives transformed for the better through the delivering power of Jesus Christ. Her main objectives are winning souls to the Kingdom, mentoring young adults and inspiring individuals to realize their talents, spiritual authority & potential in God while empowering them to be everything God has purposed for their lives.
